  19. I assume you're looking at the OPTIMA Business Modem?  Although this is a new 
  20. unit so the reviews are really just beginning to come in, I think you'll find 
  21. it does quite well.  In PC Week's recent article on 33.6K unit, they 
  22. discovered that thanks to the OPTIMA's higher DTE rate and compression, that 
  23. it can actually outrun it's 33.6K competitors when transferring uncompressed 
  24. data.  I think you'll see most of the new reviews coming out find that it is 
  25. extreme fast and has no problem talking to pretty much anything out there.

  27. You might also look at the feature set.  The OPTIMA Business Modem has pretty 
  28. much everything including voice messaging, caller-id, distinctive ring, 
  29. dialback security, remote configuration and much more.
